HTC’s next flagship, the HTC U 11 will be announced on May 16, and the upcoming premium smartphone has been spotted on GeekBench benchmarking site.
Actually, HTC CBP is the code name of the device spotted on GeekBench, and we strongly believes that this device is none other than HTC’s upcoming premium smartphone, the HTC U 11.
The device named CBP by HTC was put to test on GeekBench. It is powered by the Snapdragon 835 (MSM8998) with 4GB RAM on board, the device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The CBP (or HTC U 11) scores 1912 points in the single-core test, and 6137 points with all 8 cores put to work.
Currently there are phones which are officially on sale with the Snapdragon 835 inside, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ and testing the S8+ posted slightly lower single-core score (1832), but slightly higher figure in multi-core (6301pts).
Obviously, the HTC U 11 is most likely not in its final form yet HTC is probably optimising the device so we well just wait a little longer to know what HTC has to offer with its upcoming flagship with unique squeeze to operate feature.
