Now that the iPhone 8 is in mass production. We were expecting to see more accurate and reliable images of the device and components used to make it.
And, unsurprisingly it didn’t take time to get what has to be the first clear photos of the upcoming Apple’s smartphone showing the device’s both front and back.
As you can see, there is no home button on the front meaning that there is no physical key to place fingerprint sensor at the front and there’s no Touch ID fingerprint sensor even at the back.
The upcoming iPhone will feature a large edge-to-edge OLED display which will take most of the space at the front. Plus, the vertical placement of the rear cameras is also here (The position of the LED flash in between the rear cameras is odd).
With the absence of the Touch ID fingerprint recognition, the alleged facial recognition feature might become in-charge of Apple Pay.
However there are reports, saying that Apple may choose to place fingerprint sensor at the rear, or at the new elongated power button.
We know there were rumors stating that Apple is working on in-screen fingerprint sensor but it seems Apple and Samsung aren’t 100% successful in doing so they decuded not to bring this half-baked feature to their respective flagships.
These images comes from an unknown source so we doesn’t know how reliable they are but whatever the case these images shows that the iPhone 8 with full front display and all glass body looks awesome.
