BLU S1 smartphone spotted on Sprint site, will have octa-core CPU and 13MP camera.

A new BLU smartphone has been spotted online. Named the BLU S1, the device is listed on Sprint’s coverage website, strongly indicating it will be made official soon.

This would also make the S1 the first BLU device to work on Sprint.

While Sprint doesn’t reveal anything about the S1 at the moment, the phone’s listing on Best Cellular’s website gives away almost everything, including images, specifications, and pricing. (Links:  Sprint | Best Cellular)

Coming to the specifications, the handset is powered by Mediatek’s MTK6750 SoC paired by 2 GB of RAM, and it sports a 5.2-inch 720p HD LCD display . The internal memory on the device is 16GB which is expandable via microSD card.

BLU S1 has a 13MP camera sensor on the back with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for video-calls and selfies.

The BLU S1 is backed-up by a 2,800mAh battery, and it runs Android 7.0 Nougat.

Interestingly, Best Cellular currently lists the phone for $159.95 (already discounted from $399.99).

Sadly, none of this has been officially confirmed by BLU, but looking at the sites and details, it will be official soon.
